Tsunami : The Aftermath

The Aftermath is a movie telling about the aftermath of December 26,2004 tsunami that devastated the coast of Thailand. It is recorded as one of the most powerful disasters ever. As a fact,Tsunami's waves occur because of plate movement. At the beginning of the movie, people were happy to enjoy their holidays and celebrate Christmas. On the other hand, the movie ends up with the lots of sorrowfulness. It is so touching.
The movie follows the Carters story. The Carters family was disconnected each other after the strong disaster. Ian Carter was trying to find out his wife and his daughter,Martha Carter throughout the movie. Unfortunately,he couldn't effort to find his young girl but he met back with his wife. This is the most dramatic part of the movie. The film was made marvellously and it is worth-seeing except the scene that westerners blaming the Buddhist monks for burning the dead bodies without permission of their owners. In fact, this is kind of cultural clashes. Meanwhile,Than,a Thai waiter has to look after the survivors. Although some people don't ignore the others whenever they are facing with the problems, some are looking for their own families instead of helping others.
We need to start preparing to protect ourselves since news are broadcasting about the nearby disaster. The movie deserves the audience's attention throughout the whole time and give many messages to avoid that kind of terrible moments. As a lesson,a minute can change our beautiful lives. I have ever heard that  animals can predict before the disaster is coming by behaving abnormally. During times of disasters, looting is common. All the communication systems have been broken down and hospitals cannot handle the high influx of patients.
As a conclusion, there are uncountable loss during these days. The movie is so realistic and it will show how parents are worry about their children and they will do everything to get back their lost children.
